As Kenzie prepared for her Lakeland High School Senior, the inspiration for her senior portrait session was: flowers, the color purple, and chill vibes. Everything about her session reflected those things between her outfit choices, the various locations filled with flowers, the poses and the energy she brought into the session. Her high school senior photos turned out so warm and summery — and so HER!
Downtown Milford & Wildflower Field Senior Portraits
Kenzie envisioned two locations for her session: Downtown Milford and somewhere with a lot of flowers. I loved the idea and already had the PERFECT spots in mind at each of those locations!
We spent half of our session taking photos throughout Downtown Milford at areas I knew would have some pops of flowers or had an aesthetic backdrop. From there we headed outside of town to a back road I knew would be teeming with wildflowers this time in July. Kenzie was absolutely beaming — her smile grew even bigger when we came across some purple flowers that matched her purple dress perfectly! This session and the pictures ended up being everything she hoped for.
I hope Kenzie looks back at these pictures and remembers what it felt like to be running around carefree during the last summer before graduating and going off to college
Does it get any prettier than a flower field at sunset? I don’t think so! Afterall we couldn’t get enough of it and stayed there until the last bit of golden light disappeared. Summers are my favorite because of how long the sun is up, there’s so much beautiful lighting to take advantage of before sunset! As soon as the days start getting longer my books begin to fill up — so lets get your senior portrait session scheduled ASAP! Whether you are a Lakeland High School Senior or you attend another school, I can’t wait to meet you!
