Luke and Jenell were troopers when it came to their couples session at the Sleeping Bear Dunes. When I talked with Jenell about details for their couples session we agreed the best time of day for their photos would be early morning. We woke up at 4:45am and drove to the Sleeping Bear Dunes and arrived just as the sun was starting to rise. There wasn’t a single soul around and the lighting was every photographer’s dream!

Luke and Jenell have known each other since they were little, and always had an eye for one another. They were neighbors, but goring up their timing was not meant to be for a relationship. Both of them dated other people and did their own thing, but one day Luke said he noticed Jenell riding down the road on her bike and he said “danggg I need to go talk to that girl” and the rest was history.

This was an unforgettable couples session at the Sleeping Bear Dunes! We shared a lot of laughs and even shared mimosas mid session. These two share a love where you can tell their more than a couple, they’re best friends!
